I Choose Love
Ah, the ability to choose. On any given day and at any given moment, we have a choice. Right or left? In or out? Whole milk or soy? Stroller or Ergo? Breastmilk or formula? Shades or hat? Single or double scoop?
Certainly some decisions carry more weight than others but very often the options can be boiled down to making decision from a place of fear or love. A dear friend ( who is an ah-mazing mama/yogi/social worker/interior decorator-she is a talented one), once told me that fear is nothing more than False Evidence Appearing Real. Whoa. Let that one settle for a bit and soak up the truth. How often do our sweet minds run away with an idea? I can say that without a doubt, this happens for me all. the. time.
So, FEAR or love, sweet love. Choose love. Acknowledge fear (it serves a purpose and keeps you honest) but whatever you do, don't allow it to steer the ship. Embrace love, again and again and again. Embrace love when it is messy. Embrace love when it hurts. Embrace love when you know that FEAR is the comfortable choice. Keep making the bold, brave and undeniably hard decision to choose love.
